Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Architect to lead design, governance, and optimization of the enterprise analytics and reporting environment. You will serve as the Power BI and Microsoft Fabric SME, partnering with leaders, ERP stakeholders, developers, and data teams to deliver scalable analytics and decision support.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise with finance, project accounting, forecasting, and resource management, shaping analytics strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data solutions.
• 7+ years of hands-on Power BI in a complex enterprise environment.
• Senior/lead/architect-level analytics experience.
• Expertise in Power BI, Fabric, OneLake, DAX, Power Query, semantic and dimensional modeling.
• SQL development and performance optimization.
• Data governance and analytics architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, development, governance, and support of enterprise Power BI and Fabric solutions.
• Design and maintain semantic models, data marts, dashboards, KPIs, and executive reports.
• Gather requirements with stakeholders and translate into scalable analytics solutions.
• Support reporting for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Project Operations.
• Develop and optimize Power BI datasets, dataflows, DAX, Power Query, and reporting frameworks.
• Establish analytics governance, security models, and deployment standards.
• Implement source control, release management, and CI/CD with Azure DevOps and Git.
• Ensure data accuracy, performance, reliability, and alignment with source systems.
• Monitor production analytics environments, refresh, data quality, and performance.
• Evaluate new Microsoft technologies and suggest analytics improvements.
• Mentor developers and analysts on analytics best practices.
