Designer Brands is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to transform complex data into trusted insights across the organization. This hands-on role involves designing, building, and supporting analytics solutions within our cloud data warehouse environment, partnering with business and technology teams to deliver scalable reporting and analytics with impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with BI tools, analytics platforms, data warehouses, or cloud analytics environments.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable BI solutions using semantic layers, metrics, attributes, hierarchies, and reporting structures.
• Advanced SQL expertise including complex query development, performance tuning, and large dataset analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI solutions and metadata objects in Strategy (MicroStrategy).
• Architect and deliver enterprise reporting, dashboards, and decision-support solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Architecture to align semantic layer with enterprise standards.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into scalable BI solutions.
• Provide guidance and best practices to promote self-service analytics and data-driven culture.
• Serve as primary technical owner for inquiries, incidents, and enhancement requests.
