Job summary

Quik Hire Staffing is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js, AWS) to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for a high-traffic platform. This fully remote role offers collaboration with cross-functional teams in a cloud-native environment.

You will design, build, and deploy Node.js microservices on AWS, optimize performance and reliability, and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs with security in mind.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Node.js backend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native design patterns.
• Experience building scalable microservices and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy Node.js-based microservices using AWS services.
• Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs with a focus on security and efficiency.
• Lead architectural decisions for cloud infrastructure (EC2, Lambda, RDS).
• Monitor system health, debug issues, and implement CI/CD pipelines.
