Rain is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for NAMER with a remote work option. You will own backend design, APIs, and integrations across banking, payroll, and timekeeping domains, collaborating with international teams to deliver scalable, reliable systems.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional engineering experience.
• Proficient in backend languages Go/Golang and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and cloud tech.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into robust technical solutions and lead engineering efforts.
• Design and implement distributed micro-services and reliable systems.
• Build and maintain integrations with 3rd-party vendors and partners.
• Design RESTful APIs to support web and mobile apps.
• Create reusable code and libraries for scalability.
• Enforce observability via logging, metrics, and alerts.
