Job summary

Jobrapido seeks a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join the Client Integrations team. This remote role is open to candidates within the United States.

You will design, develop, and maintain external APIs and backend systems that connect our platform to customer workflows and third‑party services. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including full‑stack, data, ML, and DevOps to own projects from design through deployment and iteration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend focus.
• Experience building external-facing APIs and integrations with third-party systems.
• Strong understanding of system design, debugging and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Design and build secure, scalable external APIs for customer workflows.
• Own backend integrations with a diverse range of third-party systems.
• Improve database performance and query efficiency, especially with PostgreSQL.
• Develop cloud-native backend services and asynchronous workflows using serverless tech (Lambda/EC2).
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to optimize backend architecture for scalability and reliability.
