Job summary

your Jared is building an AI-native platform for cloud architecture planning. This backend role focuses on designing and implementing scalable systems powering observability, architecture modeling, and AI-driven recommendations.

You will collaborate with AI researchers and product leaders to embed LLM-based intelligence, build robust data pipelines, and ensure fault-tolerant, observable services across mission-critical workloads. This is a fully remote opportunity in the United States.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience in startups or technology companies.
• Proven track record designing scalable distributed systems and microservices.
• Expertise in Go or Python with clean, idiomatic code.
• Experience building data pipelines and observability systems.
• Hands-on with DevOps, infrastructure as code and cloud-native tech.
• Experience with LLM-based systems, AI workflows, or multi-agent architectures.
• Built 0-to-1 systems in startup/early-stage environments.
• Strong CS fundamentals; graduate-level education is a plus.
• Domain experience in cloud architecture or infra modernization is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend systems powering observability, architecture modeling, and recommendation engines.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to embed LLM-based intelligence within the platform.
• Contribute to core architecture by identifying patterns and building services reflecting decisions.
• Implement monitoring, fault-tolerant workflows, and observability layers for mission-critical services.
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, AI researchers, and leadership to translate requirements into capabilities.
• Share learnings and mentor teammates to strengthen engineering culture.
