Job summary

toogeza is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and scale the core AI infrastructure behind an AI-driven video production platform. You’ll work on LLM-powered workflows, multi-agent systems, and backend services that transform user inputs into reliable production pipelines.

You will own architectural decisions, improve reliability and performance, and collaborate with the product team to shape the user experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Python development with async stack (FastAPI/aiohttp/Starlette)
• Deep understanding of asyncio and scalable backend design
• Strong PostgreSQL skills: schema design, transactions, indexing, slow query analysis
• Experience designing REST APIs and webhook integrations with idempotency and retries
• Hands-on performance work: profiling, metrics, load testing, bottleneck fixing
• Writing tests (unit and integration) and taking features to production end-to-end
