Job summary

Eliassen Group is actively seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer (Azure) to design, deploy, secure, and optimize enterprise cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure for federal customers.

The role emphasizes scalable solutions, automation, and compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, and DoD frameworks, with a remote work option. The successful candidate will work on a W2 basis, hold an active US Secret clearance, and collaborate with DevOps, Security, Engineering, and Government stakeholders to deliver resilient

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
• 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure engineering.
• 3+ years with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• 3+ years building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• 4+ years of PowerShell scripting, Bash or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Manage Azure VMs, VNets, SQL Database, Blob Storage, Managed Disks, and Azure AD.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Implement security controls and compliance per FedRAMP, NIST, and DoD.
• Monitor and optimize performance with Azure Monitor and related tooling.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across DevOps, Security, and Government teams.
