Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer (Azure) to design, deploy, secure, and optimize enterprise Azure cloud infrastructure for federal customers. Remote role with a strong emphasis on automation, IaC, DevOps, and security compliance.

The candidate must hold an active Secret clearance and have extensive experience with Azure, Terraform, Ansible, and scripting to support FedRAMP/NIST/DoD frameworks while enabling scalable, secure cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Systems Administration, or related fields.
• 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure engineering.
• 3+ years with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• 3+ years building and managing CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Manage Azure VMs, VNets, Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage, and AD.
• Support hybrid-cloud and on-prem migrations.
• Automate provisioning using Terraform, ARM Templates, and Ansible.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitLab, and Jenkins.
