Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking an experienced Cloud Application Developer to modernize enterprise apps and migrate Power Platform solutions to Azure-native apps. You will assess Power Apps, define migration strategies, and design cloud-native solutions using React, .NET, REST APIs and microservices.

You will build data models with Cosmos DB and SQL, and establish CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps while ensuring security, reliability, and observability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise application development and cloud modernization.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Azure cloud-native architecture and development, including assessing Power Apps/Power Platform apps and migrating to Azure-native solutions.
• Strong development experience with React, .NET, REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise system integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB and Azure SQL, including data models, data-access patterns, performance, and scalability.
• Experience with GitHub/GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, CI/CD automation, Azure security, Application Insights, troubleshooting, and cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing Power Apps and Power Platform applications, document architecture and migrations, and define future-state migration strategies for Azure cloud-native solutions.
• Design and develop cloud-native enterprise apps using React, .NET, REST APIs, microservices, and Azure services across frontend, backend, integrations, and APIs.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps for automated build, test, security validation, deployment, monitoring and observability.
• Provide technical leadership across modernization efforts, code reviews, troubleshooting, and engineering standards while mentoring development teams.
