Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking an experienced Cloud Application Developer to modernize enterprise apps and migrate Power Platform solutions to Azure-native apps.

You will assess existing Power Apps, define migration approaches, and design cloud-native solutions using React, .NET, REST APIs, and Azure services. You will lead development, data modeling with Cosmos DB and Azure SQL, and drive automated CI/CD across GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise application development, cloud development, or modernization.
• Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure cloud-native architecture and development.
• Experience assessing Power Apps/Power Platform and migrating to Azure-native apps.
• Proficient in React, .NET, REST APIs, microservices and system integrations.
• Hands-on with Azure Cosmos DB and Azure SQL, including data modeling and performance.

Responsibilities

• Assess Power Apps/Power Platform apps, document architecture, data flows, and security.
• Define migration strategies and future-state architectures for Azure-native solutions.
• Design and develop cloud-native apps using React, .NET, REST APIs and microservices.
• Build data solutions with Cosmos DB and Azure SQL, including data-access patterns.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps; enable monitoring with Application Insights.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and engineering standards while mentoring teams.
