Koniag Government Services is seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to support cloud platform delivery for federal government clients. The role requires AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and security automation experience, with a focus on AI-enabled delivery practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a technical field.
• 5+ years of platform delivery experience, preferably in government or complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on AWS implementation, configuration, development, integration, testing, or operations.
• Experience working with Agile delivery teams and translating stakeholder needs into maintainable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and sustain AWS capabilities using AWS services and IaC
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines and secure deployment automation
• Translate requirements into practical technical solutions for platform delivery
• Support architecture, planning, release readiness, and production transition
• Develop reusable patterns, automation, and runbooks
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues across configuration, data, APIs, identity, and security
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, privacy, data, and operations teams
