Job summary

Ladders seeks a Senior Strategic Automation Project Manager for our client in the Food & Beverages space. This remote role drives a multi-year automation roadmap, aligning scope and execution with business priorities and coordinating with vendors from concept through startup and closeout.

You will partner with engineering, operations, and procurement to deliver capital projects and ensure design standards meet strategic goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Controls, or Industrial Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
2+ years of team management or project leadership experience.
Strong understanding of industrial automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.
Basic coding and scripting skills for software integration and industrial protocols.
Experience in automation project execution from design to startup support; ability to read electrical schematics.
Strong grasp of capital project management principles.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a multi-year automation roadmap.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and scope.
Lead automation and controls modernization initiatives.
