Ladders seeks a Senior Strategic Automation Project Manager for our client in the Food & Beverages space. This remote role drives a multi-year automation roadmap, aligning scope and execution with business priorities and coordinating with vendors from concept through startup and closeout.

You will partner with engineering, operations, and procurement to deliver capital projects and ensure design standards meet strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Controls, or Industrial Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• 2+ years of team management or project leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.
• Basic coding and scripting skills for software integration and industrial protocols.
• Experience in automation project execution from design to startup support; ability to read electrical schematics.
• Strong grasp of capital project management principles.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Strategic Automation Project Manager to join the team of a leader in the Food & Beverages space.

This role will lead strategic automation and controls initiatives that support modernization across manufacturing and engineering operations. You will drive a multi-year roadmap, aligning project scope, design standards, and execution plans with business priorities. The position requires close partnership with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors to deliver capital projects from concept through startup support and closeout.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $115,000 – $150,000 annually
