Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Software Testing Principal focused on MUMPS/InterSystems Cache in a remote role. The position supports Veterans Affairs (VA) with a 100% US-based remote setup and a Public Trust (MBI) clearance path.

The role requires 10+ years in software testing within regulated environments, and responsibilities include building test plans, executing tests, validating HL7/FHIR/EDI, and mentoring junior testers while collaborating with developers, business analysts, and

Qualifications

Experience testing in healthcare/government or other regulated environments.
Proven ability to develop test plans, scenarios, scripts and cases.
Experience validating HL7, FHIR and HIPAA EDI transactions.
Experience with VistA/FileMan environments and healthcare systems.

Responsabilités

Develop and execute test plans, cases, scripts and procedures for MUMPS/Cache environments.
Validate software enhancements, releases, defects, and upgrades.
Perform functional, integration, regression and UAT testing.
Verify data integrity across legacy healthcare applications and interfaces.
Test HL7/FHIR/EDI workflows and external partner systems.
Lead testing efforts, mentor junior testers and track testing metrics.
