Job summary

Alteryx is seeking a Senior Architect to serve as the primary technical and strategic contact for enterprise customers. You will drive analytic adoption, design solutions, and ensure technical success across the Alteryx Platform, including Designer, Server, and Intelligence Suite.

You will lead complex deployments, guide governance and analytics modernization, and collaborate with Sales, Support, Product, and Customer Success to align solutions with client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Data Science or related field; 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role.
• Proven success managing enterprise client relationships and analytics/BI deployments.
• Alteryx Designer and Server expertise; Alteryx Core Certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of data platforms and database technologies (SQL, RDBMS, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP); cloud certifications a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills across technical and business audiences.
• Experience with BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik) and scripting languages (SQL, Python, Shell).
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
• Alteryx Platform (Cloud) experience; BI/dashboard development and data engineering valued.
• Cloud and data architecture certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure)
• Experience with Salesforce, Gainsight, and similar customer lifecycle tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical and strategic contact for assigned customers during their subscription term.
• Advise on data strategies, analytics maturity, and integrations with Alteryx solutions.
• Guide clients in establishing Centers of Excellence and scalable governance for analytics modernization.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align expertise for successful outcomes.
• Architect and guide complex deployments of Alteryx platforms (Designer, Server, Intelligence Suite).
• Lead environment planning and upgrades, minimize downtime, and analyze usage for optimization and training.
