Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Sr. Application Developer to work remotely with occasional in-person meetings in Bethesda, MD. The role requires deep expertise in .NET, SharePoint, Nintex K2, and modern web technologies.

You will design and implement software components, resolve complex defects, and drive process improvements while mentoring junior developers. Public Trust eligibility is required for the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of professional experience.
• Remote role with occasional in-person meetings in Bethesda, MD.
• 4 years of experience overseeing application development and quality control.
• 5 years' experience in .NET and SharePoint 2016/2019/SE/SPO, MVC, Ajax.
• 5 years' experience with Nintex K2 automation.
• Experience with ActivePDF, Telerik RadControls, iText/iTextSharp, and SharePoint Search.
• Experience writing web service calls and stored procedures (SQL Server/Oracle).
• 3 years' experience using USWDS and claims-based authentication.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements analysis to develop detailed technical specifications.
• Design and implement complex software components across multiple technologies.
• Resolve defects, evaluate system impacts, and implement enhancements.
• Drive improvements in coding standards, workflows, testing strategies, and operations.
• Provide mentoring to junior developers and share knowledge.
