Job summary

Fusemachines Inc. is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to work remotely on VPN solutions, building and managing VPN tunnels, and ensuring security and privacy standards.

You will implement networking protocols and contribute to the core VPN SDK architecture, collaborating across teams while adhering to Play Store policies for VPN applications.

Candidates should be proficient in Kotlin, Android architecture, and VPN tooling with a track record in VPN products.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android architecture.
• Experience with VPNService and TUN interface concepts.
• Strong understanding of VPN protocols: WireGuard, OpenVPN, IKEv2/IPsec.
• Experience with NDK/JNI for integrating VPN cores and native libraries.
• Experience in developing VPN products, consumer or enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage VPN functionalities using Android's VpnService.
• Ensure stable connections across VPN protocols and secure encryption.
• Collaborate on VPN SDK architecture and ensure Play Store compliance for VPN apps.
