Job summary

Nord Security seeks an experienced Android developer to join our mobile team, contributing to Saily for Android. You will work with backend REST APIs, collaborate with web, backend, and UX teams, and help ensure high-quality Android features.

You’ll debug issues, write tests, and stay current with Kotlin/Android tools. A strong focus on MVVM, Jetpack Compose, and modern architectures will be essential as we drive AI adoption across our mobile stack.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Android development experience.
• Fluent in Kotlin, MVVM Clean architecture, Room/SQLite, and Coroutines.
• Knowledge of Jetpack Compose and Hilt.
• Experience debugging and resolving user-reported issues.
• Experience writing unit and UI tests.
• Strong knowledge of Android APIs/SDK.
• Experience with large codebases.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Android development for Saily, integrate with REST APIs, and collaborate with web/backend/UX teams.
• Debug and resolve issues reported by users and QA/testing teams.
• Work with Kotlin developers and QA to maintain high code quality.
• Stay updated with Android tools, patterns, and methodologies.
• Drive integration of AI across mobile platform and tech stack.
