Job summary

Veracyte, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Business Analytics to serve as a technical analytics partner across Commercial, Operations, Finance, and other functions.

You will design scalable analytical solutions using SQL, Python, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, and cloud platforms to improve decision-making and revenue realization. You will translate complex data into actionable insights, collaborate with Data Engineering and IT, and mentor teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.
• 6–8+ years of experience in advanced analytics, BI, data science, or revenue analytics.
• Expert-level SQL skills with complex joins, window functions, CTEs, optimization, and dimensional modeling.
• Strong Python programming using Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, StatsModels, Scikit-Learn and visualization libraries.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
• Experience with Tableau/Power BI including dashboard development and optimization.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and communicate findings through narrative insights and recommendations.
• Ability to manage ambiguous problems and deliver high-impact solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as analytics lead supporting Commercial, Finance, Operations, and related functions.
• Partner with leadership to prioritize analytics investments and measure outcomes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align analytics with strategic priorities and deliver value.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable analytics using SQL, Python, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, and cloud platforms.
• Perform statistical analysis, forecasting, segmentation, hypothesis testing and predictive modeling.
• Partner with Data Engineering, IT, and Master Data Management to define data requirements and improve data quality.
• Build semantic data models, reusable datasets, KPI frameworks, and standardized metrics.
• Support data governance by validating source integrity and documenting metric definitions.
