Job summary

Veracyte, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Business Analytics to serve as a technical analytics partner across Commercial, Operations, Finance, and other functions. You will leverage advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and automation to improve performance, revenue realization, and decision-making.

The role combines data engineering, BI, and operational strategy to deliver scalable analytical solutions with measurable business impact and governance principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, CS, Statistics, Math, Eng, Analytics) or related.
• 6–8+ years of experience in advanced analytics, BI, data science, or similar.
• Expert SQL skills: joins, window functions, CTEs, optimization, dimensional modeling.
• Strong Python, including Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-Learn.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, BigQuery, Azure Synapse).
• Experience with Tableau/Power BI, dashboard development and optimization.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and communicate insights effectively.
• Able to manage ambiguous problems and deliver high-impact solutions in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics for Commercial, Finance, Operations, and related functions.
• Partner with leadership to prioritize analytics investments, define metrics, measure outcomes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align solutions with strategic priorities and deliver value.
• Design and maintain scalable analytics using SQL, Python, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, cloud platforms.
• Perform statistical analysis, forecasting, segmentation, hypothesis testing, predictive modeling.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, IT, and MDM to improve data pipelines and data quality.
• Build semantic data models, reusable datasets, KPI frameworks, metrics aligned with governance.
• Support data governance by validating data integrity and documenting metric definitions.
• Leverage AI and ML to improve forecasting and automate decision support.
