Job summary

Belcan is seeking remote Aircraft Mechanical Design Engineers to support the design and development of aircraft heavy/primary structures. The role requires 3-12+ years of experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter for PDM, BOMs, and revision control.

You will work on 3D parametric modeling and 2D drafting for military Bizjet aircraft, with direct customer engagement. The position is mid-to-senior level, hands-on and involves design, documentation, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or similar discipline.
• 3-12+ years of strong, applicable experience with primary structural design and modifications.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles for aircraft structures and components.
• US citizenship is required.
• Advanced proficiency in Teamcenter (PDM, BOMs, revision control).

Responsibilities

• Design aircraft heavy structure and primary structure modifications using 3D CAD.
• Create and release 2D drafted engineering drawings for parts, assemblies, and installation.
• Support procedures and technical documentation as applicable to assigned design.
• Create and release engineering drawings, procedures, and technical documentation.
