Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Competitive Intelligence Analyst III to support AI security portfolio decisions and go-to-market strategy. You will partner with Product, Sales, and cross-functional leaders to shape roadmap decisions and win in a rapidly evolving enterprise AI security landscape.

The role emphasizes deep analysis of AI threats, prompt injection risks, and field-facing guidance. It is a remote, individual-contributor position with high visibility and impact across global teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline).
Minimum 5 years of experience in the cybersecurity market with a primary focus on Security for AI/ML, including demonstrated understanding of AI/LLM attack surfaces (e.g., prompt injection, model poisoning, training data leakage) and AI governance.
Deep familiarity with the Security for AI competitive landscape, including major industry players, AI safety frameworks, and the evolving regulatory environment.
Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience (Ideal candidates will have experience in at least TWO of the following): sales engineer/pre-sales, competitive intelligence, solution architect, product management, technical marketing, and product marketing
Proven ability to synthesize complex technical concepts related to AI threats and security into field-actionable guidance and executive summaries.
Superior communication skills including experience presenting to senior & executive level management.
Excellent people and project management skills to manage initiatives and build rapport with cross-functional teams and third parties.
Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Synthesize and formulate guidance on the strategic importance of Security for AI, emphasizing how the protection of autonomous agents and the mitigation of prompt-based threats create a significant competitive advantage.
Provide a field-actionable, in-depth and ever-evolving understanding of the Security for AI market, analyzing competitors' ability to deliver accelerated detection and autonomous remediation across the full AI lifecycle.
Provide tailored deal support (competitive surgeries & guidance), and develop a deep rapport with the field.
Work closely with the rest of the Competitive Intelligence team and technical stakeholders to serve as the primary liaison for Security for AI competition.
Make recommendations on sales tactics and product strategy to enable CrowdStrike to win in the market.
Be a self-starter with an ownership mentality. You will work autonomously in the development of project plans, requirements, timelines, content, and ongoing tracking/updates of the Security for AI competitive landscape.
Conduct win/loss analysis, using both quantitative and qualitative data sources to determine why CrowdStrike wins and loses vs. the competition.
