Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Senior AI Security Architect to lead security for AI initiatives across the enterprise. You will partner with Cybersecurity, Data & Analytics, and Infrastructure to define security standards, governance, and guardrails that enable responsible AI innovation.

The role is remote in the U.S. with quarterly travel to Deerfield, IL, and offers visibility into a global healthcare organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, or related tech disciplines.
• Experience securing AI, Generative AI, ML, cloud, or advanced analytics environments.
• Knowledge of AI governance, risk management, and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead security reviews for AI, Generative AI, ML, and AI agent solutions across the enterprise.
• Define AI security standards, architectures, and best practices.
• Evaluate new AI technologies from a security and risk perspective.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for AI apps and platforms.
• Establish security controls for LLMs, AI copilots, and related tech.
• Support AI governance with security requirements and monitoring capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and security.
