Job summary

Baxter International Inc. seeks a Senior AI Security Architect to lead security for Generative AI, LLMs, and AI platforms across the enterprise.

You will partner with Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, Data & Analytics, Infrastructure, R&D, Privacy, Legal, and Quality to establish security standards, governance frameworks, and guardrails needed to enable responsible AI innovation. This is a remote U.S.-based role with quarterly travel to Baxter's Deerfield, IL headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity, security or enterprise architecture.
• Experience securing AI, cloud, or analytics environments.
• Knowledge of AI governance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead security reviews for AI, ML, and AI agent solutions.
• Define AI security standards, architectures, and guardrails.
• Evaluate new AI technologies from a security perspective.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for AI apps.
• Establish controls for LLMs, AI copilots, and RAG solutions.
• Support AI governance with security requirements and monitoring.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure compliance.
• Mentor architects, engineers, and stakeholders on best practices.
