Job summary

NBCUniversal is building a foundation for responsible, scalable AI across its media and entertainment brands. As a Senior AI Governance Engineer, you will define governance, security, monitoring, and operationalization for AI products.

You’ll design semantic models, define metrics and access controls, and build CI/CD pipelines and IaC for AI workloads, with a focus on compliant, auditable practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years in Data / Cloud Platform Engineering.
• Proficient in Python, SQL (Snowflake), AWS, and Git.
• Experience with Snowflake Cortex or Databricks Genie/Agent Bricks.
• Understanding of AI frameworks: LangGraph, MCP, RAG.
• Terraform/IaC for cloud AI environments; RBAC and IAM.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain semantic models in Snowflake and Databricks.
• Define governed metrics, entities, lineage, and access patterns.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and IaC for AI apps and ML workloads.
• Enable repeatable deployment across dev, staging, prod.
• Create monitoring for latency, quality, reliability, usage, health.
• Define standards for audit, compliance, responsible AI.
• Optimize AI infra and cloud costs across Snowflake and Databricks.
• Provide visibility into model, agent, inference costs.
• Design governance for models, tools, datasets, APIs; RBAC.
