NBCUniversal, a leading studio, is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to build and secure AI infrastructure, bridging traditional ops with AI engineering. You’ll scale cloud-native platforms, deploy AI workloads, and collaborate across artists, production, and engineering teams.

The role emphasizes Kubernetes-based automation, governance, and observability, with a fully remote arrangement and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualificações

• 8+ years of software, DevOps or platform engineering experience with 1+ year building AI systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies and architectures (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proven record of developing and deploying AI agents, tool-calling systems, and multi-agent systems.
• Proficiency in revision control and DevOps best practices (Git).
• Expert Linux experience (Red Hat, CentOS) and scripting with Bash or similar.
• Proficient in Python, Java, or JavaScript development.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate across technology and production teams to shape PaaS and AI infrastructure practices.
• Influence Agentic Engineering and MCP Server Development efforts.
• Develop governance, security, and observability standards for AI systems.
• Leverage Kubernetes for automated stateless deployments across environments.
• Use enterprise Kubernetes stacks to run AI workloads from development to production.
• Identify and drive efficiency improvements in Platform Services and oversee implementations.
• Monitor platform infrastructure, using Datadog or similar tools for performance and capacity.
• Contribute to cyber security vulnerability mitigation and compliance.
• Document standard run books and architecture diagrams.
• Develop and maintain microservices, tools and automation.
• Provide production break-fix support.
