Job summary

Government Employees Health Association, Inc. (G.E.H.A) in Digital Innovation seeks a Senior AI Context Engineer. You turn raw enterprise information into precise AI context, owning extraction, chunking, vector indexing and retrieval to enable fast, secure access for LLMs.

You will collaborate with architects and developers to build scalable context services, ensure compliance with HIPAA/HITRUST, and optimize RAG workflows for enterprise health data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in backend software engineering, ML/search, or data-centric apps.
• 1–2 years optimizing AI/RAG architectures and vector retrieval for LLMs.
• Strong Python and SQL with experience in orchestration tools.
• Experience parsing unstructured content with LlamaIndex/Unstructured.io/LangChain.

Responsibilities

• Context Engineering & Retrieval Optimization to feed LLMs.
• Design and implement vector indexing, metadata and hybrid search.
• Ensure HIPAA/HITRUST-compliant data handling and RBAC for context payloads.
• Collaborate with AI Solutions Architect and product teams on scale.
