Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Experienced Senior Context Engineer to design and build reusable context assets powering BDO Advantage’s AI-native products. You will own complex context work, mentor engineers, and partner with the AI Engineering Manager to ensure high-quality, governed context across the SDLC.

You will lead retrieval-grounding pipelines, establish conventions, and help ensure secure, scalable context production while aligning with firm policies and security standards.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of software, data, or AI engineering experience.
• Three or more years building LLM context, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or knowledge-management systems.
• Experience defining reusable engineering assets, patterns, or technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Designs and builds complex, reusable context assets across DT&I products.
• Establishes conventions, inheritance, and versioning standards for the team.
• Codifies assurance domain knowledge into structured, retrievable, governed knowledge.
• Reviews context and skill contributions for quality, security, and reuse.
• Pilots emerging context-engineering tools to improve grounding quality and developer productivity.
