Job summary

Mom's Meals is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to lead enterprise AI strategy, design, and delivery. You will partner with executives to translate business needs into scalable AI/automation solutions, guiding governance, security, and lifecycle management across the organization.

You will drive AI adoption with Agentic AI, Generative AI, and RPA, shaping roadmaps, collaborating with IT and business leaders, and ensuring responsible AI practices in a remote/hybrid setup requiring travel to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years’ experience in software engineering, AI engineering, data engineering, automation, analytics, or a related technology discipline.
3+ years’ hands-on experience designing and implementing AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, or advanced analytics solutions.
Proven experience partnering directly with business stakeholders to solve complex business challenges through technology.
Experience leading discovery workshops, process assessments, and solution design sessions.
Demonstrated success delivering technology solutions across multiple business systems and platforms.
Strong understanding of enterprise applications, cloud platforms, system integrations, and modern data ecosystems.
Artificial Intelligence: Agentic AI frameworks and solution patterns; Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI; Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG); Prompt engineering and agent design; AI governance and lifecycle management;Model evaluation, monitoring, and optimization.
Intelligent Automation; Robotic Process Automation (RPA); Workflow orchestration technologies; Intelligent Document Processing (IDP);Business process automation and optimization
Solution Delivery & Integration: Enterprise application integrations; API concepts and integration patterns; Cloud-based platforms and services; Secure solution design principles;AI deployment, monitoring, documentation, and support

Responsibilities

Partner with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and operational challenges.
Conduct workflow assessments and discovery sessions to identify AI opportunities.
Translate business requirements into practical AI, automation, and analytics solutions.
Develop business cases, value assessments, and implementation roadmaps for AI initiatives.
Serve as a trusted advisor on emerging AI technologies, trends, opportunities, and risks.
Lead solution design sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
Design AI-enabled workflows, agents, copilots, and automation that integrate with enterprise systems.
Collaborate with security, data, and IT teams to deploy AI solutions successfully.
Build AI solutions using LLMs, orchestration, and RAG techniques.
Monitor, optimize, and document AI systems to maximize value and reliability.
Advise on governance, risk management, and ethics for enterprise AI.
