Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Lead AI Architect, GTM Systems, to define the technical vision for AI-powered GTM workflows. You will architect, prototype, and set patterns for the GTM engineering team, choosing when to use low-code tools or build custom agents, and ensuring enterprise-grade, governed solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience and 3+ years of Technical Lead experience.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents used by real end users.
• Experience with LLM orchestration and agentic frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, MCP).
• Strong backend fundamentals with Python/Node.js, FastAPI, and event-driven patterns.
• AWS Bedrock and cloud-native infra experience (Lambda, SQS/SNS, EventBridge).
• Proven ability to translate business goals into architectural roadmaps and ADRs.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical vision for AI-powered GTM systems, including low-code automation and custom agentic AI builds.
• Lead architectural design for complex GTM systems and cross-system integrations.
• Drive evaluation and adoption of emerging AI tools and platforms with risk assessments.
• Serve as the technical authority on LLM orchestration, prompt safety, and tool calling.
• Own the integration architecture strategy across the GTM systems landscape with clear data contracts.
• Develop governance for a scalable low-code-first approach and enable non-engineers to build safely.
• Collaborate with GTM stakeholders to translate business goals into roadmaps and timelines.
• Conduct architecture reviews to improve system quality and reduce technical debt.
• Produce ADRs and internal tech docs to raise the team's technical bar.
