Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior AI Architect in the United States to define end-to-end Agentic AI architectures for large language models, multi-agent systems, and orchestration layers. You will work with the Digital Engineering team and collaborate with client stakeholders, data and platform teams, and engineers.

The role emphasizes cloud-native, scalable, and secure AI applications, with strong Python, DevOps, and cloud experience across Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in AI/ML and GenAI, incl. LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, embeddings, and multi-agent architectures.
• Strong Python programming skills with hands-on AI library experience.
• Cloud experience with Azure (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio, Databricks) and AWS or GCP.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, REST APIs, microservices, and event streaming.
• Strong DevOps/MLOps capabilities, including CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, and experiment tracking.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end Agentic AI architecture frameworks using LLMs, multi-agent systems, and orchestration layers.
• Design autonomous AI agents for planning, reasoning, memory management, and tool usage.
• Establish reference architectures for cloud-native, scalable, secure AI applications.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems including data platforms, ERP, CRM, APIs, and event-driven systems.
