Job summary
Cognizant is seeking a Senior Agentic AI Engineer to drive development of agentic AI solutions from a remote location in the USA. You will lead an onshore/offshore team, design architectures, and deliver production-grade AI capabilities for clients.
The role demands hands-on engineering across conversational AI, LLM orchestration, and secure deployment in AWS Bedrock and related services, with a strong focus on scalability and governance.
Qualifications
- Must have Conversational AI and Agentic AI platforms.
- Experience with AWS Lex or other deterministic bot.
- Experience with AWS Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore.
- Experience with AWS Strands SDK / Framework.
- Hands-on voice bot and chat bot development.
- Proficiency in intent modeling, conversation design, prompt engineering, and NLU concepts.
- LLM application development, tool calling, function calling, and multi-agent workflows.
- Experience securing enterprise AI agents including guardrails and data protection.
Responsibilities
- Lead Dev team across onshore and offshore.
- Hands-on development, design and architecture based on client requirements.
- Support QA and UAT teams.
