Centene Corporation is seeking a senior actuarial professional to lead financial modeling and risk assessment for value-based care contracts. The role focuses on analyzing claims data, vendor performance, and negotiating terms with external partners while aligning with enterprise goals.

You will collaborate with Medicare/Marketplace and Medicaid teams, apply rigorous statistical methods, and communicate insights to leadership. This is a fully remote role within the continental U.S.

Competenze

• 5+ years actuarial experience with ASA: or 4+ years with FSA required.
• MAAA membership preferred.
• Experience with vendor arrangements, healthcare claims and revenue data, and trend analysis preferred.

Mansioni

• Lead development of financial models for VBC arrangements including shared savings/risk, capitation, bundled payments, and specialty carve-outs.
• Analyze claims and vendor performance data to establish baselines, measure performance, and identify trends.
• Provide analytical support during vendor negotiations, including financial terms, risk structures, and methodologies.
• Communicate complex findings and recommendations to leadership and technical audiences.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align on strategy and ensure VBC strategies are analytically sound and feasible.
• Independently identify issues in vendor contracts and drive analytical solutions.
• Work with Medicare/Marketplace and Medicaid teams to assess impact of policy changes on trends and contracts.
• Research and identify new business opportunities.
• Apply mathematics, probability, statistics, finance principles to calculate financial outcomes.
