Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 4+ years actuarial analysis, data modeling, informatics and analysis.
• Experience in managed healthcare or insurance operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial, statistical and mathematical data and perform actuarial calculations.
• Lead or support rate development through analyses of benefit design and experience.
• Lead or support regulatory rate filings and data preparations.
• Develop monthly IBNR reserve estimates for various lines of business.
• Prepare monthly accruals and contract settlements.
• Support financial budgeting, reforecasting and projections.
• Evaluate capitation rates for Medicaid or other programs.
• Perform risk adjustment analyses and score simulations.
• Develop trend analyses and provider contract analytics.
• Maintain internal/regulatory reports and participate in audits.
