Job summary

Optum is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Processor for a national remote role. You will manage the processing and validation of vendor invoices, ensure proper coding and approvals, and maintain vendor relations across the AP function.

Some offices may require in-person work four days a week in Minneapolis, VA, MD, or DC areas. The role offers full-time hours within 9:00 am–3:00 pm local time, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes and accounting basics.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Process non-PO vendor invoices via Concur or spreadsheet uploads.
• Verify invoice accuracy: billing address, quantities, pricing, and tax.
• Ensure proper authorization and GL coding for payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain vendor relationships and support AP processes.
