Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a Senior Associate Specialist, Accounting to execute core accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations and close activities, while supporting audits and maintaining strong internal controls. This remote US role collaborates with finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The position requires 2–4 years of experience, a finance or accounting degree, and proficiency with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance / accounting or related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit roles.
• Experience supporting journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and strong Excel skills.
• Experience in a multi-entity or shared services environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare routine journal entries and accounting adjustments under established guidelines.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Support investigation of discrepancies in ledger accounts and transactional data.
• Follow internal controls and standard accounting procedures to ensure data integrity.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts, including accruals and prepayments.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Assist in identifying variances and discrepancies and elevate findings for review.
• Maintain organized close documentation and workpapers.
• Assist in preparing routine operational and statutory financial reports.
• Support preparation of accounting schedules and reports for management and auditors.
• Ensure assigned reporting deliverables are accurate and completed on time.
• Collaborate with accounting team members and cross-functional finance teams to resolve routine issues.
