Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Finance professional for Optum Finance supporting rebate disbursements within OptumRx Accounting. You will manage end-to-end client portfolios, interpret contract terms, and deliver insights from large datasets to leadership.

Remote work is available nationwide with in-office requirements in certain metro areas. You will collaborate across Forecasting, Pricing, Industry Relations, and Regulatory Reporting while delivering process improvements and accurate

Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounting/finance/financial analysis experience.
• 1+ years of extracting and interpreting large financial data sets.
• 1+ years of Excel-based financial analysis with pivot tables and lookups.
• 1+ years of presenting analyses to leadership or stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze contract terms to ensure accurate rebates and client setup.
• Audit client setups and assist with custom formularies for rebates.
• Manage client portfolios through full lifecycle: setup, payment initiation and termination.
• Extract and map data from diverse systems for analysis.
• Prepare fluctuation analyses and explain drivers to management.
• Conduct ad hoc reporting and investigate variances for stakeholders.
• Summarize analyses and present findings to executive leadership.
• Collaborate with Forecasting, Pricing, Industry Relations, Client Management, and Regulatory Reporting.
• Propose innovative approaches to improve efficiency and data integrity.
