Job summary

American AI Logistics, Inc. (AAIL) is seeking a Senior Accountant to anchor accounting operations. This hands-on role covers close, treasury, AP/AR, and expense management, with NetSuite implementation work and DCAA-compliant timekeeping.

You will partner with leadership to ensure accurate books and timely government billing while growing the function as the company scales. The successful candidate will have 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, a BA/BS in accounting or finance, strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Experience in a DCAA-compliant environment.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close with journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger, COA, and accounting policies.
• Prepare government invoices and support government billing & audit docs.
• Administer timekeeping and track indirect rate and job cost in projects.
• Support audits, tax returns, and monthly leadership reporting.
