American AI Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to be the day‑to‑day backbone of our accounting operations.

This hands‑on role spans the close cycle, treasury support, AP/AR, and expense management, and you will work closely with leadership to keep the books accurate and vendors paid on time. You will help stand up NetSuite as our ERP, support government billing, and have the opportunity to grow in scope as the company scales—from reconciling a credit card statement to preparing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with AP and AR, subcontractor or vendor pass-through payments.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606.
• DCAA-compliant accounting environment experience: job cost, direct vs indirect charging, timekeeping, FAR Part 31.
• Experience preparing government invoices and supporting government or prime contractor billing/audit docs.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data sets.
• Familiarity with AI tools and a hands-on, do-it-all mindset.

Responsabilités

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close with journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts; apply accounting policies.
• Apply ASC 606 revenue recognition for SaaS subscriptions and government contracts; monitor deferred revenue.
• Track software development cost capitalization and amortization; maintain asset schedules.
• Support annual audits and corporate tax return processes with external firms.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages for leadership.
• Maintain job cost structure and indirect rate structures; manage timekeeping and invoicing.
• Administer NetSuite close, reporting, and post‑go live changes with partner.
• Support ERP transition: data reconciliation, cutover parallel closes.
