Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant for a fully remote role across designated states. You will handle complex journal entries, monthly close, variances, and AR billing while coordinating with government and grant-related reporting. CPA preferred and NetSuite experience a plus.

The position supports financial operations, audits, and internal controls with a focus on healthcare finance and regulatory compliance across multiple contracts and funding partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 3 years of related work experience
• Computer skills including Excel, Word, and general ledger systems
• CPA is a nice-to-have
• Experience with NetSuite
• Healthcare finance experience

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting documentation; record complex journal entries and support the financial close.
• Review monthly results against budget and provide variance analytics.
• Manage monthly billing processes and ensure timely, accurate invoicing per contracts.
• Monitor accounts receivable, collect and resolve billing discrepancies to support cash collections.
• Prepare grant-related financial reporting compliant with requirements.
• Serve as accounting liaison for government agencies and funding partners.
• Collaborate with operational and government teams to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition.
• Maintain reconciliations and assist with audits.
• Provide month-end close analysis and support audits.
