Job summary

Novalaw Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial operations in a fully remote role within the United States.

You will maintain accounting records, prepare journal entries, and ensure compliance with US GAAP, delivering accurate reporting on tight deadlines. The ideal candidate has at least three years of progressive accounting experience, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA not required, but a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
• Experience with US GAAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with US GAAP.
• Perform daily reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
• Analyze data to support management reporting and decision-making.
• Develop and maintain KPI reports using Excel and PowerBI.
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams across US time zones.
• Support special accounting and finance projects as needed.
