Job summary

LevelUp is seeking a Senior Accountant for a 6-month remote engagement with a US client. You will own accruals, assist close processes, and support audit and financial statement preparation. Strong Excel and problem-solving skills are essential for navigating large workbooks and ensuring accurate numbers.

Role requires US business hours and a Philippines-based remote setup. The position offers an extension based on performance and project needs, with equipment provided and standard PH benefits.

Qualifications

• Senior-level accounting experience with complex projects.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP for US-based companies.
• Own accruals and support month-end/year-end close.
• Experience preparing audit support and financial statements.
• Intermediate Excel skills including key lookup functions.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly accruals process, reviewing POs and contracts to determine what to accrue.
• Support month-end and year-end close, ensuring books are accurate and closed on time.
• Prepare interim and year-end audit documentation and supporting schedules.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and resolve discrepancies such as rounding differences.
• Prepare annual stock option roll forward using Carta reports and weighted-average prices.
• Trace balances from prior-year work papers and replicate for the current year.
• Support revenue-related work as needed.
