Job summary

Audacy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant in a remote role to support the Corporate Finance team. The position involves preparing quarterly and annual financial statements, coordinating fixed assets and lease accounting, and handling the monthly close process with cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, and strong proficiency in Excel. US GAAP knowledge and SOX controls are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• Experience with US GAAP and financial reporting close processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Provide support in fixed assets, lease accounting, and general accruals.
• Prepare monthly close journal entries.
• Complete monthly close journal entries.
• Complete monthly reconciliations balance sheet accounts.
• Work with external auditors, provide support documents and explanations.
• Compile, adjust and evaluate accruals to ensure accuracy.
• Research and correct account discrepancies and variances.
• Maintain ongoing communication with business partners.
• Execute controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
