Job summary

Audacy is hiring a Senior Accountant for a remote role in the United States. You will support the corporate finance function, assist in closing processes, and ensure Sarbanes-Oxley controls are followed.

Required are a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and at least 3 years of accounting experience, with proficiency in Excel and accounting software such as NetSuite, Solomon, and Tagetik. The salary range is $75,000–$80,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Support fixed assets, lease accounting, and general accruals.
• Prepare monthly close journal entries.
• Complete monthly close journal entries.
• Complete monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Coordinate with external auditors, providing documentation and explanations.
• Compile, adjust and evaluate accruals to ensure accuracy.
• Research and resolve account discrepancies and variances.
• Maintain ongoing communication with business partners.
• Execute controls to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
