Job summary

Paydex Technologies is seeking a 100% remote Senior Accountant based in the United States. You will own the month-end close process, maintain GL integrity, oversee reconciliations, and ensure GAAP compliance across all business operations.

The role emphasizes a remote-first culture with emphasis on transparency, continuous learning, and autonomy. Strong financial reporting and cloud-based accounting systems experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of general ledger, corporate accounting, or public accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP standards and financial reporting requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, complex modeling) and modern cloud accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, preparing accruals, journal entries, and financial consolidations.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, variance analyses, and bank reconciliations to ensure general ledger accuracy.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) in accordance with US GAAP.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll audit workflows in collaboration with internal teams.
• Support external audit requests, tax filing preparations, and internal financial control reviews.
