Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a senior role overseeing core operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in the end-to-end month-end close process.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP or similar).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas).

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and quarterly close cycles and manage general ledger.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and depreciation processes.
• Prepare and book journal entries for inventory and COGS.
• Direct Accounts Payable workflow and vendor invoicing.
• Review daily sales and revenue journal entries for accurate revenue recognition.
• Prepare internal financial statements and detailed management reports.
• Provide variance analysis and commentary for executive decisions.
• Own non-income tax compliance including sales tax and personal property tax filings.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Support Controller and CFO on ad hoc finance tasks.
