Job summary

SuperOrdinary is seeking a Senior Accountant for US Revenue & Operations Accounting on a six-month contract-to-hire basis. The role is 100% remote within the United States and reports into the U.S. Accounting & Finance team.

You will own revenue close processes, work with NetSuite, ASC 606, and inventory and AP/AR reconciliations, collaborating with cross-functional partners. A path to full-time depends on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
• 1+ years of Revenue Accounting experience required.
• Experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• CPA or CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Manage, record, and reconcile monthly revenue transactions in NetSuite.
• Apply ASC 606 and SOX 404 to revenue recognition and invoicing documentation.
• Ensure cost of goods sold and capitalized inbound freight are recorded correctly.
• Partner with operations to reconcile inventory held at warehouses and 3PLs.
• Record and reconcile AR and inventory-related AP transactions and reconciliations.
• Maintain accruals and assist with monthly/quarterly close packages.
• Support NetSuite optimization and year-end audit requests.
