Job summary

CarsonLynch Professional Search client is seeking an Accountant for a primarily remote position with light travel to operating sites. You will collaborate with leadership, assist in close processes, and contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years of accounting experience, a bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, and CPA is a plus though not required. Manufacturing, distribution, or logistics exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5+ years of related accounting experience.
• CPA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries on a weekly basis.
• Assist during monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Analyze monthly financial & operational reports.
• Collaborate with Accounting/Finance and Operational leadership.
• Analyze monthly financials for variances and errors.
• Assist with the annual audit process.
• Drive the build out of financial reporting and KPIs.
