Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Understanding of medical coding and terminology.
• Ability to work in a team with attention to detail and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Submit billings to appropriate party and follow up for adjudication and payment.
• Communicate with patients, payors, and hospital departments on claim status.
• Reconcile accounts receivable and post cash receipts.
• Coordinate third-party and patient billing and documentation.
• May train/cover AR Supervisor and cross-train staff.
• Assist in reports and data collection.
